Product Description
The coyote Travel Backpack from Peak Design features expansion zippers in the spacious main compartment, allowing you to adjust its capacity from 30 to 45L. Inside, an optional front and rear divider can be created using the zippered partition system. To further organize your gear, you can add separately available Peak Design compartments for camera, video, audio, and digital media equipment, as well as clothing or small electronics.
When worn, the backpack's sleeve—located behind the shoulders within the main compartment—includes dedicated pockets for a 10" tablet and a 15" laptop. A front-facing pocket offers quick access to your phone, sunglasses, or earphones, while hidden side pockets securely store your passport, phone, or other items requiring extra security. Two large open side pockets feature locking straps to secure a water bottle, tripod, monopod, or trekking pole.
When placed on the ground, the backpack offers full access to optional Peak Design compartments or the main compartment through a rear-facing zippered panel and a front panel. The front panel also unzips to reveal four zippered mesh pockets for storing and organizing batteries, memory cards, or small electronics. If you only partially open the rear panel, you can access your laptop or tablet from the top of the pack. Additionally, the main compartment is accessible while wearing the backpack via zippered side panels.
Carry options include built-in side and top handles plus adjustable backpack straps. For heavy loads, use the sternum strap to distribute the weight. You can also use the waist belt to transfer weight to your hips for additional comfort and to limit unintentional shifting. During storage or transport, the straps and waist belt can be tucked behind the rear panel, which has a built-in handle that can be used as trolley sleeve for attaching the pack to the handle of your rolling luggage for seamless travel.
Featuring durable, nylon construction, the Travel Backpack is built to be weather resistant and is compatible with a separately available rain cover for further protection from the elements.
